​Renovated Centre for Visitors Medvedgrad to open its doors to visitors as of Sat

The new Medvedgrad Visitor Centre near Zagreb was formally opened on Friday at a ceremony which was attended by government and city officials.

The reconstruction of Medvedgrad historic fortress was part of the HRK 40 million project, which was launched in 2018 with the aim of improving the visitor capacities in the Medvednica Nature Park overlooking Zagreb.
 
The centre will open its doors for visitors as of Saturday.
 
Visitors are asked to announce in advance their tours at the info@pp-medvednica.hr.
 
The new visitor centre was established within the walls of Medvedgrad, and there are two educational programmes and interactive toys and puzzles for children to help them learn about the natural and cultural values of the Medvednica Nature Park.
