GAST fair opens in Split

The GAST international trade fair began in the Croatian Adriatic city of Split on Wednesday, with 1,300 exhibitors from 13 countries putting on display their products and services.

The 17th edition of GAS includes several shows specialised in gastronomy, catering, wines, coffee, furniture, tourism, and investment projects.

Opening the event, Split County deputy prefect Visko Haladic said that this international fair was important in the run-up to the summer tourist season.

The show runs until 25 March. (Hina)
