Croatian Tourism Days in Cavtat, 25-27 October

The Croatian National Tourist Board (Hrvatska turistička zajednica – HTZ) is the traditional organizer of the annual congress for tourist employees ‘Croatian Tourism Days 2006', which will take place in the town of Cavtat, 25-27 October.

The congress is an opportunity for all those working in the tourist sector to discuss their experiences gathered during the current year and it will also be used for the presentation of the tourist development policy drafted for the upcoming year.

Other important events during those three days are workshops and lectures given by foreign as well as domestic tourist experts.

At the end of the congress, many awards will be handed out. The 'Blue Flower 2006' will be given to this year's tidiest and most attractive tourist destinations along the coast, awarding also other important elements of the Croatian tourist offer, and the ‘Green Flower 2006’ will go to the tidiest and most attractive tourist destinations and objects in the continental part of the country. In order to underline the important role of individual effort, an award will also be given to the tourism professional of the year.
