Croatia's Successful Presentation at Copenhagen Tourist Fair

The Croatian National Tourist Board confirmed that Croatia's presentation at the Copenhagen tourist fair ''Ferie 2006'', from 27 until 29 January, was very successful.

The fair was one of Denmark's largest tourist fairs, counting 1040 tour operators arriving from 54 countries. The number of Danish tourists interested in Croatian destinations is constantly growing. Last year 83 000 of them spent their holidays in our country, i.e. a 40% increase as compared to 2004. Even better results are expected during the tourist season 2006. When it comes to accommodation, Danes are especially interested in comfortable camping sites and apartments.

Croatian hotel companies and tour operators are satisfied with their presentations at the fair. Further, it was confirmed that also in 2006, Copenhagen and the Istrian city of Pula would be linked directly via charter flights.
