A Croatian Day in Paris

Zdenko Mičić, State Secretary for Tourism will arrive at Paris tomorrow in order to participate in the  event ' A Croatian day in Paris', organized by the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ). This important event will gather numerous tourism professionals to participate at the workshop which will start at 14:00 p.m. Also participating will be approximately 50 tourist companies from Croatia and 100 French professionals who have expressed great interest in discovering all the possibilities Croatian tourism has to offer.

After the workshop, there will be a press conference for the French media and partners. It will be held by the State Secretary and by Marina Tomas – Billet, head of the Paris office of the HTZ.

This year's event will be dedicated to the topic of Croatian regions; Croatia's partners will be organized according to regions and the festive dinner following all daily activities will carry the title ‘Aroma and Flavors of Croatia’, which will includes the tasting of Croatian wine and other regional specialties of Croatian gastronomy.

This is an important moment for Croatian tourism as far as the French market is concerned. Croatia wants to present its offers regarding to its various geographical regions. The goal is to underline the richness and diversity of Croatian tourism, said Marina Tomas-Billet.

At the end of the day 200 guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the festivity. The guests will be mostly tour operators, journalists and eminent persons of the French society. They will be served delicious food prepared by Croatian cooks, enjoying the unique atmosphere by listening to the music of the ‘Guitar Trio’ from Dubrovnik.
