The Zagreb Tourist Board (TZGZ) will be organising the first Zagreb Digital Nomad Week from June 21 to 27, and the Zagreb Digital Nomad Ambassador project will be launched after that.

The TZGZ is organising the Zagreb Digital Nomad Week 2021 & Digital Nomad Ambassador Project in cooperation with the Saltwater Nomads agency and the Total Croatia News website, the Zagreb Tourist Board said on its website.

The Zagreb Digital Nomad Week 2021 will be held live and online, and the seven-day event will cover seven topics, including cyber security, online presence and long-distance jobs, taxes and finances and the future of work, the quality of life and exploring Zagreb.

The Zagreb Digital Nomad Ambassador project invites digital nomads to spend a month in Zagreb for free and share and promote their experience.

The Saltwater Nomads agency posted an invitation to digital nomads to come to Zagreb and the event in June on its website.

Conference on digital nomads and labour market

Various coworking spaces, artificial intelligence and other incubators are available to digital nomads in Zagreb, and in addition to space, they offer their users workshops, networking and other services.

One of such spaces is Wespa Spaces, which on Friday organised, together with the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Zagreb, a conference, where it was said that the trend of digital nomads had been growing in Croatia in the past year, which had an impact on the labour market and could have a big impact globally on the future of professions.

Digital nomads living in Croatia shared their experiences at the conference, including Jan de Jong, who is also the founder of the Digital Nomad Association Croatia, and representatives of the Split Tech City and Osijek Software City associations.
