Zagreb records good tourist results

Zagreb has been recording better and better tourist results all year round.

In July alone the Croatian capital recorded 17 percent more tourists who made 29 percent more overnight stays in relation to the same month the year before.

In this year's first seven months, Zagreb had 326,100 tourist arrivals, up two percent year on year. However, the number of overnight stays in the said period dropped one percent to 579,000.

Of the total number of tourists in Zagreb, 88 percent were foreigners.

The list of foreign tourist in Zagreb is headed by Spaniards (16 percent more than last year), followed by tourists from Germany, France, the United States, Poland, Great Britain, Japan, Italy, Netherlands and Russia.
