​Valamar Riviera Group to invest HRK 826 m in 2020

The Supervisory Board of the Valamar Riviera hotel group on Friday endorsed the group's 2020 investment plan whereby overall investments in Valamar destinations, including those in the Imperial Riviera will amount to HRK 826 million, the company informed on Friday.

Valamar informed via the Zagreb Stock Exchange that the group's Supervisory Board adopted a final decision approving investments of HRK 599.9 million in 2020 and an additional investment of HRK 226.2 million for the Imperial Riviera.
 
"Investment projects in 2020 are the continuation of the investment strategy to re-position the portfolio toward offers and services of a higher added value," the group said in a press release.
 
Valamar expects the completion of upgrading Istra Premium Camping Resort in Funtana to the first 5 star camping resort in Istria in 2020. The overall investments for this project over the past three years amount to HRK 413 million.
 
To date, Valamar Riviera has invested almost HRK 6 billion in tourism, making it one of the biggest investors in Croatia and the region.
