Tourism ministry presents catalogue of investment projects

The Tourism Ministry has made public on its web site a catalogue of investment projects with information for potential investors on more than 30 companies, facilities and locations which are priority public tourism projects seeking investors. The 110-page catalogue is divided in three parts and the first contains information on state-owned companies awaiting privatization to be carried out by the Agency for State Property Management. There are 14 such companies and the state holds interests of more than 25 percent in their capital stock. Some of those companies are the Bizovacke Toplice spa, the health and recreational centre Lipik, the hotel companies Podgora, Zivogosce, Medena, Maestral, Imperial and others.

The second part of the catalogue contains information on projects related to companies founded in order to prepare and develop those projects on specific locations. Those projects are Brijuni Rivijera and Prevlaka Park and the state holds a portfolio of more than 51 percent in them.The third part of the catalogue refers to other projects in the tourism sector and for the time being, it includes only the project of Prukljan Tourism Zone in Sibenik-Knin County near Lake Prukljan.

The ministry says that the catalogue will be updated if necessary and calls on interested investors to contact it or the Agency for State Property Management for more information. (Hina)
