Tourism minister visits Pula apartment hotel complex undergoing renovation

Tourism Minister Veljko Ostojic on Tuesday visited the apartment hotel complex Punta Verudela and the Plaza Histria Hotel in the northern Adriatic city of Pula which are being renovated.

Igor Stokovic, executive manager of the Arenaturist hotel company which owns Punta Verudela and the Plaza Histria Hotel, said the hotel was expected to be opened in mid-May and the apartment complex by the end of that month.

Minister Ostojic said the renovation work would cost around 25 million euros.

Speaking of this year's investments in tourism, Ostojic said that around 1.5 billion kuna would be invested, including slightly less than 900 million by the private sector. (Hina)
