Tourism minister meets German and Chinese ambassadors

Croatian Tourism Minister Veljko Ostojic held separate meetings with German Ambassador Bernd Fischer and Chinese Ambassador Shen Zhifei on Wednesday, the Tourism Ministry said in a statement.

Ostojic informed the German diplomat about investment possibilities in the Croatian tourism industry, and said that the government was planning to privatise 13 tourist companies. Ambassador Fischer described Croatia as a country with great potential as a tourist destination and with a fantastic image.

Ostojic and Ambassador Shen Zhifei talked about the promotion of Croatia's tourism in China and an increasing number of Chinese tourists visiting Croatia. The Chinese ambassador supported the strengthening of bilateral tourist cooperation. (Hina)
