Ryanair will connect Dubrovnik with 18 European destinations next year

The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will connect Dubrovnik with 16 new destinations next year, along with the current two, and in winter it will fly to London. Dublin and Vienna, Dubrovnik Airport and Ryanair told the press on Wednesday.

"This is a joint success and with this we are becoming a European city break destination. Our main goal was to ensure flights in winter. We have three year-round routes, "Dubrovnik Airport director Viktor Šober said.

Ryanair commercial director Jason McGuinness said the airline planned to bring over 600,000 passengers to Dubrovnik in the first year.

The 16 new routes confirm Ryanair's commitment and vision of what can be achieved in Dubrovnik in the future, he said, adding that the airline wishes to be a long-term partner to Dubrovnik Airport and Croatia, with a sustainable annual turnover growth.

Along with London. Dublin and Vienna, as of next April Ryanair will fly from Dubrovnik to Manchester, Berlin, Duesseldorf, Baden-Baden, Memmingen, Brussels, Milan, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Krakow, Poznan i Wroclaw.

After Zagreb and Zadar, Dubrovnik will be Ryanair's third base in Croatia with two new Boeing 8-200 Gamechanger planes.
