Parliament adopts set of tourism-related laws
The Croatian parliament on Thursday adopted by a majority vote a set of tourism-related laws as well as a law on the Judicial Academy.
MPs also voted in amendments to the Electricity Market Act and the Act on Hydrocarbon Research and Exploitation and adopted reports on the work of the ombudswomen for children and persons with disabilities in 2018.The parliament also ratified a financing agreement between Croatia and the European Investment Bank for projects concerning the national co-funding of EU funds in the period from 2014 to 2020.
The parliamentary majority turned down the Social Democrats' proposal for a wage increase, Human Shield's proposal for making public the register of pedophiles and the Bridge party's motion to declare an Exclusive Economic Zone in the Adriatic. (Hina)
