Mali Losinj marks tourism anniversaries

The town of Mali Losinj and its tourist board on Friday marked the 125th anniversary of the opening of a tourist office in the town and 120 years of health tourism on Losinj island.

The anniversaries were marked with a presentation of a project for the development of tourism in Mali Losinj in cooperation between the public and private sectors, on the principles of sustainable development and ecology.

Bed/nights went up from 1.8 million in 2006 to 2.2 million in 2011, with the number of tourists going up from 25,000 to 285,000. (Hina)
