Karlovac wins Swiss tourist award

The Scientific Committee of the Swiss Tourism Awards decided to bestow the title of "the Green Croatian City" on Karlovac in the category of "natural paradise", the authorities of that Croatian city reported on Wednesday.

The award-giving ceremony will be held in Lugano, Switzerland, at the travel and tourism trade fair to take place on 16-18 November.

Since 2006, the Scientific Committee of the Swiss Tourism Awards has been conferring this award to Croatian cities and Karlovac is the fifth recipient. (Hina)
