The number of tourists visiting Croatia's coastal counties in July dropped by 3.4% or by 155,000 compared with July 2023, according to the data provided by the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ).

Of the seven Adriatic counties, only Dubrovnik-Neretva saw an increase year on year, with 2,600 more visitors (+0.6) staying there this July than in July 2023.

The drops in arrivals in the other six counties ranged between 3 and 6 per cent.

Concerning the continental part of the country, most destinations registered similar or slightly higher numbers compared with July 2023.
