Gast fair to be held in split on March 6-10

The 18th edition of the Gast fair will be held in the coastal city of Split on March 6-10.

Gast is a group of fairs on food, beverages, hotel and catering equipment, wine, coffee, furniture, tourism and development agencies.

The event will be opened by Croatian President Ivo Josipovic.

Also held as part of Gast will be the 18th international wine and hard liquor evaluation.

Croatia's Tourism Ministry is expected to present its tourism development strategy at the fair and back it up with successful examples.

Also held will be a meeting of the European enterprise network which will be attended by partners from Serbia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania. (Hina)
