Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management awarded UNWTO quality certificate

The World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) has awarded the quality certificate "UNWTO.TedQual" to the Opatija-based Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management for the period from 2020 to 2024, the Tourism Ministry has said.

The  Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management is the first faculty in Croatia to be awarded that certificate and Croatia is among 38 countries in the world where it has been awarded.

The Tourism Ministry says that the UNWTO.TedQual is proof of the excellence of study programmes in the field of tourism, awarded for a period ranging from one to four years.

The UNWTO launched the TedQual certification programme back in 1998 in cooperation with Themis Foundation.
