Dubrovnik tourist guides mark 80th anniversary of organised tours

The association of tourist guides "Dubrovnik" on Wednesday marked the 80th anniversary of organised tours in Dubrovnik and the 40th anniversary of its establishment.

"Organised guided tours existed before the Association was established, but we are nonetheless proud to be celebrating today our 40th anniversary as well. We have made progress in the most recent period, including, among other things, with regard to the new Tourism Act and possible greater activity of tourist inspections to identify illegal guides," said the association's president, Marko Sjekavica.
