Dubrovnik expects 206 cruise ships this season

A total of 206 cruise ships with some 220,000 passengers are expected to dock in the southern Adriatic city of Dubrovnik this tourist season, the head of the Dubrovnik County Port Authority, Zeljko Dadic, told the press on Tuesday.

This tourist season, too, was opened by the Costa Fortuna cruise ship which brought 2,314 passengers to Dubrovnik this Easter. The Costa Fortuna and the Costa Favaloza will sail into the Dubrovnik port 68 times this season.

In 2011 a total of 196 cruise ships with 281,173 passengers on board docked outside Dubrovnik. (Hina)
