Croatia promotes its tourism in New York

Croatia plans to increase the promotion of its tourist industry in the USA next year, it was said at a presentation at the Harvard Club in New York on Wednesday evening.

The presentation of Croatian tourist services was attended by representatives of leading US travel agencies and travel writers, as well as senior executives of the Croatian Tourism Board and Croatian diplomats in the United States.

Nearly 125,500 US tourists visited Croatia in the ten months of this year, or 10.6 per cent more than in the same period of 2009. They generated 326,500 bed nights, up 8.6 per cent. (Hina)
