The City of Dubrovnik is a candidate for the title of the prettiest European city. The survey was compiled by USA Today and its online tourist guide 10 Best. The voting closes on November 18, the Dubrovnik Board of Tourism said in a statement on Tuesday.
Twenty other European cities are competing for the title - Paris, Lyon and Strasbourg in France, Chester and London in England, Florence and Venice in Italy, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia in Spain, Bergen in Norway, Brugge in Belgium, Budapest in Hungary, Copenhagen in Denmark, Innsbruck in Austria, Leiden in the Netherlands, Lugano in Switzerland, Prague in the Czech Republic, Riga in Latvia and Santorini in Greece.
Anyone can vote once a day at http://www.10best.com/awards/travel/prettiest-european-city/, until noon November 18. Winners will be revealed Nov 20.
