Construction of new facilities within the reception centre of Kopacki Rit Nature Park has begun with the aim of raising the quality of service for visitors, the Environment Ministry said this past week.
The project is worth HRK 3.8 million and the funding has been secured through the EU Natura 2000 integration project. The work is expected to be completed by next spring.
The buildings will be designed in a traditional style of architecture typical of that part of eastern Croatia, using traditional building materials such as reed, clay, wood and brick.
