Zagreb to welcome spring with Festival of Lights

The sixth Festival of Lights Zagreb, serving as a prelude to the springtime tourism season in the Croatian capital, will be held from 20 to 24 March, the city's tourist board announced earlier this week.

Apart from showcasing 29 installations across town, this year's festival also conveys a message about the importance of preserving nature and sustainability. Through collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature Adria, particular attention is drawn to nature conservation and responsibility towards the environment and future generations.

The Festival of Lights will also participate in the global initiative Earth Hour, with lights dimming for 15 minutes at all festival locations on Saturday, 23 March, starting at 8:30 PM.

Admission to all festival locations is free, with festivities unfolding daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
