The Croatian Tourism Board (HTZ) is investing €3.4 million (including VAT) in marketing cooperation with strategic partners this year, or twice as much as in 2022, of which 60 percent is for cooperation with carriers, most of which are airlines, the HTZ said Monday.
Investments in strategic marketing cooperation are in line with HTZ's annual work program for 2023. The HTZ combines these funds with partners and tourism associations to raise awareness of the Croatian tourist brand in selected markets with joint campaigns related to the program of strategic partners for Croatia, using promotional channels, tools and experience of partners in the segment of organized tourist trips.
These are primarily collaborations with a number of foreign carrier partners and tour operators who have organised arrivals in Croatia, along with the national flag carrier Croatia Airlines.
Cooperation also includes activities with partners who connect Croatia by ferry or train, but the largest cooperation is planned with major airlines that have programs for Croatia from a number of different European markets, for example Croatia Airlines, Ryanair, easyJet, LOT, Jet2.com, Volotea, Transavia, Eurowings and others, some of which operate throughout the year.
In addition, it cooperates with large tour operators such as TUI, ID Riva Tours and others.
