The first cruise ship, out of 341 planned for this year's tourist season, arrived in the eastern Croatian Danube River port of Vukovar on Friday, with 175 guests aboard, mostly from the United States.
They are sailing from Budapest to the Black Sea.
Last year, 305 cruise ships with 29,607 travellers aboard visited Vukovar, according to the city authorities, who expect 341 cruise ships this year.
Vukovar currently has 1,054 beds to accommodate tourists.
