Additional €453k to be invested in Veli Lošinj Health Resort

Investment in the Veli Lošinj Health Resort continues and approval has been issued for the HRK 3.4 million renovation of the parking lot, public lighting and internal roads, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Deputy Prefect Marina Medarić said on Monday.

At a regular weekly press conference, the deputy prefect said it was one of the biggest investments in health facilities in the county.

The Magnolija facility has been reconstructed with more than HRK 20 million, and several days ago the facilities Park II and the kitchen, in which HRK 26 million was invested, were opened.

The renovation of the parking lot and roads is a continuation of the reconstruction of the area, and the aim is develop Kvarner as the centre of health tourism, the deputy prefect said.

She added that money had been secured for developing a project to reconstruct facilities Park IV and Park III so that project documentation would be ready for application to the National Recovery and Resilience Fund.
