The Croatian government on Monday established a national system for the issuance of EU digital COVID-19 certificates.
The national system for the issuance of EU digital COVID certificates is ready to start operating as of tomorrow, 1 June, and its integration with the European gateway has been completed, which will secure the cross-border interoperability of the certificates, the government said in a press release.
In addition to facilitating the movement of citizens crossing Croatia's and other EU member-countries' borders, the certificate will also be used for other purposes in line with decisions of the national COVID-19 response team concerning the protection of the population against infectious diseases.
Information on the EU digital COVID certificate is available at www.EUdigitalnaCOVIDpotvrda.hr.
The government notes that the certificate will be used in line with regulations on the protection of data and exclusively for the purpose of accessing and processing data contained in it.
