Polish edition of "National Geographic Traveler" dedicated to Croatia

The Polish edition of the "National Geographic Traveler" is dedicated to Croatia as a tourist destination, which is an additional opportunity for promotion on the Polish market, from which good results are expected this year too, the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) has said.

"We believe the excellent pictures and texts in that edition will additionally inspire Poles to visit Croatian destinations already this year," says Agnieszka Puszczewicz, director of the HTZ's Polish office.

The editor in chief of "National Geographic Poland" and "National Geographic Traveler Poland",  Agnieszkom Załęska-Franus, says many Poles love Croatia, as evidenced by the fact that it has been one of their favourite destinations for years.

"That's how we got the idea to dedicate a special edition of the magazine wholly to Croatia and its beauties, small and bigger cities, tasty cuisine, excellent wines and beautiful nature," she adds.

HTZ director Kristjan Staničić says Poland is one of the most important markets for Croatia's tourism which generated good results also the pandemic year 2020.

"In 2020, Polish tourists ranked third in the tourist turnover with about 4.6 million nights. We expect a strong contribution from that market also this year, during which Poles have generated over 100,000 nights so far," he adds in a press release.
