Health tourism on Croatian islands is developing spontaneously rather than systematically, and this development should be encouraged as it is a great opportunity for enterprises and revenues, consultant Leila Kresic-Juric said at a conference on health tourism held on the southern Croatian Adriatic island of Korcula. The conference, the first such event in Croatia, was held on May 17 and 18.
It was organised by Croatian MEP Ruza Tomasic in cooperation with Vela Luka Municipality and with the support of the European Parliament. (Hina/FaH)
