British low-tariff airline EasyJet is continuing its expansion to the Croatian market by launching seven new routes from Croatia, including four from Pula -- to Basel, Liverpool, London Southend and Milan Malpensa, Pula airport said in a statement earlier this week.
EasyJet operates 46 routes from four Croatian airports -- Dubrovnik, Pula, Split and Zadar. The company has flown a record number of passengers to and from Croatia in the last 12 months -- 910,000, or 35 percent more than last year.
EasyJet expects a record summer next year with over 3,100 flights and 540,000 seats on flights to Croatia in July and August, the statement said.
The British company has flown over 3.8 million passengers since its first flight to Croatia in 2009.
